What an IDIOT!!!

Sunday, 15 February 2009

Right, I don't usually get worked up over stuff like this, but i feel it's about time to bring this subject up...

People, i really need your opinion on this. Is it me, because if it is, i neeed to know...

Are some guyz these days becoming increasingly disrespectful to girls who refuse to give out their numbers on road???

Because, and correct me if i'm wrong, i'm not the sort of person who would allow someone to invade her personal space (2 inches from me) and demand that she gives them her number or means of contact, JUST LIKE THAT!!!

I really do apologise if i'm coming all out, but I had a weird experience yesterday (actually one of many, and i really have had enough)...

It all started when i decided to get the bus home from my mum's shop.
As i walked casually to the bus stop, a boy on his bicycle (I would say a man, but after this experience, i have concluded that he is in fact a BOY) stops beside me...

And when i tell you that this dude was not even FINE, jeez, some people are bold oh. TBH i had no intent on being rude, i just wanted to get on with my business and get home!

So here is how it went...

BOY: "Wagwan chick, you lookin' nice t'day huh?"
Me: (continued walking, pretended not to hear, hoping BOY would see headphone in my ear. Normally i would say thank you, but his approach was terrible.)
BOY: "Oi, excuse me, i'm chattin' to you."
Me: "Oh me? Pardon what did you say?" (At this point i decided to give BOY the benefit of doubt, i thought to myself, he probably has something else constructive to say...WRONG)
BOY: "Yes you, do you have a man?"
Me: "Nope." (...and i'm not interested!)
BOY: "So, drop your number down, so man can chat to you innit." (Transaltion: So give me your number so i can call to talk to you.)
Me: "Sorry, i can't."
BOY: "Do have MSN?"
Me: "Nope."
BOY: "You have Facebook?" (signs of anger)
Me: "Yes, but just to keep in contact with my close friends."
BOY: "So what, i can't even contact you then yeah?" (practically shouting now)
Me: "Sorry, you can't." (what the hell is wrong with this dude???)
BOY: "You ain't even that NICE anyway."
Me: "Then why did you attempt to talk to me?" KMT
BOY: "F**K off you C**T."
Me: (Started laughing, surprised)
BOY: (Rides away still uttering fowl language.)

Can you just imagine? I mean what has this town come to?
Just the other day, i heard that a girl got "fly kicked" on the head...
...because she refused to engage in conversation with a boy.

NAA WAA OH!!!
(soz, some Nigerian slang there!)

Let me know your thoughts.

xoxo,

This post was too funny...I have had something similar happen to me and while I'm usually super nice, after trying to give the hint multiple times I usually resort to saying 'Can you please leave me the hell alone?'..I guess just saying 'I have a boyfriend' would be a lot easier! lol

@ Aleksis ~ Yes definately, i have now learnt that saying i have a boyfriend is what i have to say...! lol

What an experience. Lol, well at least you have a story to tell to future generations if you or your other siblings decide on getting married and having kids.

Yes, SOME, men are bold. You know that. This is too funny! I would have kept walking.
