My 10 Most Worthy Accessories.

Saturday, 25 December 2010

I have found, through styling numerous of my outfits, how important a ring, belt or a particular pair of shoes can be. Often times I'm asked by lovely ladies here on the interwebs about tips on how best to style their outfits, and my number one tip I always share is to invest in some pieces for their Accessories Wardrobe. Accessories can bring a whole outfit together, and they're great in showing personal style.

I'm going to share with you my 10 Most Worthy Accessories. These are pieces that go beyond the seasons, and still adapt to the changes in trends...

1. A Statement Ring or two. Express your sense of style and love for your favourite things through these.
(Swallow Ring ~ Republic, Gem Ring ~ Topshop)

2. A Simple Pendant Necklace. For an effortlessly chic look.
(Heart Necklace ~ Topshop)

3. Bangles. Add character to your outfit. Choose from metal, wood and glass.
(Mixed Bangles ~ Primark)

4. A Belt. An enhancing piece. Wear with a top, dress or skirt to create a classic hourglass shape.
(Brown Leather Belt ~ Primark)

5. Flats. One can hardly go wrong with a pair of these, be it sandals, dollies or brogues, flats are stylish and practical.
(Brogues ~ New Look)

6. A Scarf. One way to keep nice and cosy but it's also a piece to add cool to an outfit. Wool for Winter, Silk for summer! You can also tie one round the handle of your bag to jazz it up.
(Scarf ~ H&M)

7. A Satchel. They carry everything, from schoolbooks to makeup bags. Invest in a satchel. There are loads of styles to choose from too!

8. A Watch. Classic timeless piece...see what I did there! ;)
(Watches ~ Aldo)

9. A Clutch. Add a touch of glamour to your evening outfit.
(Flower Textured Clutch ~ H&M)

10. Heels. The ultimate style choice. Fabulous in every sense of the word, oh and adds length to those pins!
(Leopard Print Peep Toes ~ Topshop)

Merry Christmas Everyone!!

Nathaniel is photographed here, writing his Christmas cards.

As some of you would have gathered from my tweets earlier in the week, Nathaniel wasn't feeling very well, he was suffering from the Flu but now he's fully recovered from it...the only problem is, it's gone round our house and everyone's feeling poorly! Womp, womp!
I feel a tad bit better today, and I'm just praying we'll be good for the weekend!

Hopefully you all enjoy it, eat loads of food and get loads of prezzies! I wish you all a Merry Christmas!

Lots of love!

Warwick Avenue.

Tuesday, 7 December 2010

I love this nail polish soo much! It was a freebie a few Glamour issues ago, and my sister managed to get her mits on it! I borrowed it from her last month, and she let me keep it! What a sweetheart!

Warwick Avenue (Nails Inc London) is a soft nude pink peach, with a silky finish, that applies really smoothly.

It's around £11, so it's a bit on the pricey side, but the colour is just gorgeous, and I'm glad to have got it free! Hehe. ^.^

Here I applied two coats.

I'm really into pink nail varnishes, and I'd love to know some of your faves! :)
