Today marks the start of a new back to basics Beauty Series I'll be filming and posting about. I'm really excited about this, as it's been a while since I posted about beauty related stuff! I'm hoping it'll help people who aren't sure where to start when it comes to things beauty/makeup related!

To kick off, the most requested tutorial... ever. The Winged Eyeliner!

Here are my favourite Eye Liners...

Yeti

Monday, 21 November 2011

The amount of laughs this (Yeti) Coat has brought me this weekend! It's one of those pieces you either love or hate, but I happen to love it! I normally go for (and still very much love) the classic trench for the winter, but I felt like switching it up a bit!
I like how different it is, and oh my, does it keep me warm!

The girls loved it so much (), even Lexi went ahead and got herself one! I mean it is a real steal at £34.99 if you ask me!!

I thought to add a bit of colour to the outfit by wearing a bright coloured lipstick, Morange by MAC (New Fave!), and I have extensions in (Sleek Remy Couture) ...I was in one of those "Long Hair, Don't Care" Moods! Hehe!

Thanks to Sammi who helped me capture the outfit. Mad Photog Skills!! ;)

Head to Toe : H&M
(...Walking Ad or what?! lol!)

Also S/O to , Wande, , , J'ara Ami ...had a wonderful day with you all (Missed you )! :)

Perspective

Sunday, 20 November 2011

**I didn't have a picture to go with the post, so I thought to use this one! I'm loving my new iPhone 4s, white, minimal and sleek, and Michelle looks so pretty on the cover of December's ELLE!**

What an amazing weekend it has been. It was finally time to drop, actually DROP everything and head home. My time in London was relaxing and indeed reflective. I got to spend time with my little brother Nathaniel who I had missed so much (He's become such a Smartie!), enjoyed long chats over tea with my Mum (who put a lot of things into perspective, I love the woman.), crack endless jokes with Alan (My Inspiration.) and Kezia (Sister and Best Friend.), and had an amazing day out with my friends. My daddy who I miss dearly is away on business, but I did get a chance to speak to him, and as always he was so lovely and encouraging!

Sometimes we get so caught up with Life, as they say, that we forget the things that really matter. I have a wonderful family, incredible friends, and opportunities to do the things I love doing, and I need to constantly remind myself that. Having these amazing people in my life put things into perspective really is a blessing, and I'm beyond grateful for that.

I want to thank you all as well for your encouraging e-mails, tweets and comments. You guys really are awesome. I want to do something nice for you all, so I'm going to be thinking about ideas for a giveaway (Long Overdue haha!).
Also, I have an Outfit Post coming up, and I'll be starting a new Beauty Series this week. I'm really excited, hope you are too! :)

xoxo

Now or Never

Wednesday, 9 November 2011

The past few days have been so relaxing. I've had total me time, I've enjoyed waking up feeling good and not in a rush to go anywhere or do anything…just be.

I've had quite a few personal issues to deal with (fear not, nothing to be overly worried about), and I was just feeling a little down and I was advised by a friend to just take a break from everything. I did, and it has been worth it. I managed to clean out my whole apartment (that's therapeutic in itself!), go shopping and spend time just reflecting on life. My head is now in the right place, and I feel I can now move forward.

I've also been listening to Tank's "Now or Never" album, and have been tunelessly & tirelessly belting "" whenever I can haha! Love him!!

Oh and in case you didn't notice, I've had my hair cut! Been wanting to do so since summer, and the right time finally came! It's a simple bob, but I opted to leave the hair in the front long (Just so it looks decent when I have curls in! :P). I feel I'm able to put on almost anything and the hairstyle just gels with the outfit. This one being one of them. Vintage Leather Shorts, Simple White Tee and Oversize Blazer. We can't forget the hint of Leopard print and Red (Lippy). ;)

Shorts : Vintage
Tee : Primark
Blazer : H&M
Boots : New Look
Cuff : H&M
Lippy : By Terry, Fanatic Red (203)
