This shawl has quickly become my favourite piece in my wardrobe, and I tell you no lie, I've worn it every single day since I bought it! I thought to put a Lookbook together so you can have an idea of the different ways it can be styled...

LFW Day 3 Photo Diary

Day 3, the sun was up and played a big part in motivating me for the events of the day. As I mentioned in my last post, I had no important shows to attend, and the day was going to be all about street style.

Outside Mulberry. We troddled off to the Claridges Hotel where the Mulberry show was held and soon after we arrived, the streets were flooded with photographers, street style & press, and we knew some really important people would be walking in and out of the hotel doors. I spotted my style icon Olivia Palermo, and I remember thinking what a lucky girl I was...first Harry the day before, now Olivia...Only my two favourite people in the world! Ha! I went ahead and asked her for a picture, and she was so sweet! Her car had arrived and she needed to go, but she still stayed for a minute to chat and take pictures with Elodie and I! Possibly the highlight of my whole experience! (1-3)

Furry. These ladies were really rocking the fur at Somerset house! (3-5)

Outside Unique. The show was held at the Topshop Showspace in Billingsgate. Sandra (5inchAndUp) and her luscious locks. Olivia and an outfit change. So effortlessly chic. Rita Ora, who was sporting a red lip to match her Chanel bag, looked incredible. (7-10)

Another amazing day! A little sad I had to leave all the fun and return to Uni, but I enjoyed myself nonetheless. Now, time to face the books!

LFW Day 3's Outfit.

Day 3 for me was all about capturing Street Style. I had no important shows to attend, so I decided to just go with the flow and soak up the energy around. I went with a more laid back look as compared to the first, with these pair of riding pants and a shawl, but popped a bit of colour into the mix with this neon/floral shirt and a bold pinky/orange lip! Oh and can I just say, my love for American Apparel has gone through the roof, surely this is not good for one's pocket...

LFW Day 2 Photo Diary


MAC Makeup Masterclass with Artist Pablo Rodriguez, who recreated Stephane Rolland's Paris Couture Show's Look. I learnt a few tips & tricks from Pablo, who was very funny by the way, which I'll surely be sharing with you! (2,3)

I had such a wonderful day, and as I mentioned on , I was very humbled and excited to be in the midst of such great people. Friends from the blogging/youtubing world, great fashion designers, style icons and incredible photographers. A really amazing day!

Woven



LFW Day 2's Outfit.

When the day came around, I was more than excited at what it would bring. I did plan a different outfit entirely, but because of a few issues with fitting I was unable to wear what I originally wanted to. This outfit was put together in 5 minutes, after a momentary minute of panic! I am soo glad I brought this skirt with me from Nottingham! It's such a beautiful piece, and I paired it with this woven shell jacket, and a simple black top. To play up the outfit even more, I accesorised it with these marvellous court shoes and brown bag. I kept my makeup simple and my hair was styled in milkmaid braids (a style I've been sporting a lot recently!).

Live in Colour

I've always enjoyed the Street Style element of Fashion Week, so no surprise there that I took to the cobbles, camera in hand, in search for the stylish lot. I spotted quite a few trends, and here is one: Live in Colour. Vibrant yellows, bright pinks, cool blues and trusted greens. The mix of them all brought an exciting feel to the atmosphere.

Believe it or not, I was one of those people who swore would never buy disco pants, as I was afraid they would never look good on me. It was only after I tried them on in the store and felt how comfortable they were (not to mention, they did look very nice with the jumper I was wearing on the day!), that I had to man up, and buy a pair. Haha! To some they may seem like glorified leggings, and even if this is the case, I still think they look and feel better!

There's a lesson to be learned here...can't knock'em, till you try'em!

I've worn them every other day since I purchased them and gosh, they go with everything. Today I wore them with this stripy number, sported a vampy plum lip and threw on my Yeti for warmth's sake! And that extra bit of fur peeking out is actually my feather bag, one of my favourite bags, ever! :)
