Who else is tired of the winter?? I know I am! So much so that i'm desperately waiting for Spring - My Favourite Season - to come.

I've had a little nosey round on the internet and looked at few mags here and there, and I have come across a few trends for the upcoming season.

In Make-Up, i've seen quite a few pastel eyes and bold lips, so i decided to create this look today!

I'm Free.

I can tell you now, honestly, I did not come back to Nottingham the same person I left. I feel different. I see things different. I feel more objective rather than subjective. I feel free.

...

We stayed at a Chalet Park, called Cefn Lea, in some Valley of Wales, there was no signal/reception...so no phone calls, texts, bbm, facebook, twitter, youtube or blogger. Simply put, we were away from all form of civilisation.

It felt good.

The theme of the weekend was Freedom. As a group we discussed it, and how one can come about achieving it. We spent time in God's presence and felt him at work. I certainly learnt very important things.

I have a sense of belonging because now i'm a child of God.

I have a sense of worth because Jesus died for me.

I have a sense of competence because the Holy Spirit dwells in me.

This was probably the most amazing weekend i've had. I was able to spend time with, and fellowship with unbelievable people. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery, amazing food and had soo much fun together.

All About Face Make-Up Brush Set.

So i've finally given in and tried out my Make-up brushes that I recieved as a gift from my lovely housemate! 

Would you believe me if I told you, I stared at the beautiful white bristles for ages before i took the plunge, and used it?? Haha, Sad I know!

I did a little research and discovered that they were actually part of the Holiday Gift Range that Tesco brought out late last year, and they were on sale for only £6! Now that is awesome, given that these brushes are of very good quality!

The set comes with Six brushes encased in a very fetching silver brush holder:

1. Powder brush
2. Blush brush
3. Eyeshadow brush
4. Angled eyeliner brush
5. Sponge tip applicator
6. Lip brush

The Powder and Blush brushes are Excellent. They feel soo soft on the skin and pick/apply the product very well! The eyeshadow brush on the other hand, i found quite stiff. It's no Mac 239 though! Perhaps it would be of better use with concealer rather than eyeshadow application. The Angled, sponge (great for my Sleek shadows!) and lip brush were all as good as my others.

Here are photographs I took of them, on the first day I got the set...when they were all nice and new and clean haha:


I've tried them and come to the conclusion that the set is worth every penny. Very good quality brushes, but at the small price of 6 quid!

An Inexpesnive Brush Set...great for those starting out with make-up, or for those who just want pretty brushes to add to their existing collection! :)

I do hope that Tesco still has them, and if not they should bring them back next holiday season!

Anyone who knows me, knows i'm a very huge fan of Victoria Beckham. Her amazing sense of style is what I love about her. I've also been watching the audition episodes of American Idol, and I absolutley love the way she comes across. She is fun and down to earth, oh and extremely fashionable!

Aimlessly searching the web I came across two very lovely photographs, which I used as inspiration for my Make-up and Fashion Look today!  They're from the March 2010 Issue of Glamour Magazine (US)...have a peek at the rest of the photos from the shoot HERE! :)
