I posted about Force earlier on in the week Here. Today I applied an extra coat of it and one coat of Prism. Prism is an Iridescent Blue Nail varnish also by Illamasqua. (£13.00).

So as mentioned in my previous Post, Sammi and I ended up at Harrods and made a few NYX and MAC purchases!

Just in case you didn't know, Harrods stocks NYX products and their stand can be found on the 4th Floor right by Juicy Couture! :)

Here's what I got!

I've always wanted the jumbo pencils, especially Milk, as a lot of Beauty Gurus use it! The Pencils were £5.95 each, a tad bit more expensive than what you'd pay across the pond or Online,  but I felt the need to go and see the products for myself, have a little swatch of them and feel them. I was very impressed with the quality of them. I couldn't leave empty-handed so I picked these up...

This one was I a bit of an impulse buy! It's a cute pink lipgloss that I feel will go perfect with my Lucky Green eyeshadow by MAC. £4.95.

I picked these up because i've been looking for a good nude lippy. Freckletone is a Lustre finish, quite sheer, but can be intensified after a few coats. Shy Girl is a Cremesheen finish, with a pinky undertone. They were £12.50 each.

Another Impulse Buy! Sheesh! A Nude Lipliner called Summerfruit...would go well with Freckletone. £10.



I wanted a Coral Lipgloss for Summer so I bought this one. It's called Lychee Luxe...strange name, but ok. Nevertheless it's a pretty colour! £12.

And lastly Two more eyeshadows to add to my collection. Antiqued is a very pigmented Veluxe Pearl finish, would be great in the outer corner over Painterly for a Neutral eye. Gleam is a Lustre finish pink with gold undertones...Gorj! £9 each.

Hello My Sweetys!

I was kindly invited to the Press Release (Launch) of the New TOPSHOP Makeup. TOPSHOP is one of my favourite clothing stores so when the opportunity arose to attend the Launch, I was very excited as I wanted to learn more about the upcoming Makeup collection.



The collection was created in partnership with Top makeup artist Hannah Murray, very well known artist for her work on the catwalks of Top London Fashion Houses. It is a collection that at the moment consists of a CORE range and SPRING/SUMMER 2010 range.

CORE

This range includes an array of 97 makeup products, from blushers to bronzers, lip balms to glosses, eye kohls to shadows, with price ranging from £4 to £12. I swatched some of the products and the one that instantly stood out to me were the Blushes. They had six different shades. When applied it looked sheer but had a buildable quality about them.

SPRING/SUMMER 2010

The packaging of this range is just 'to die for' as you can probably tell from the photograph below! My favourite in this range was the shadestick-like 'Crayon'. So smoothly applied and highly pigmented. There are 18 other pieces all in the £5 to £15 price range.
